The Rapid Tec comes complete fully assembled with attachment for quick installation whilst its shallow design ensures suitability in restricted ceiling voids.
Introduction
The RTEC Downlight combines elements of both of our highly successful BTEC and Protec downlight ranges offering a range of accessories commonly sold with the Protec downlight but also combining a similar optical design to our BTEC downlight, the RTEC combines flexibility and an appealing design with excellent efficiency, colour consistency and lifetime.
The RTEC downlight is supplied fully assembled with the attachment fitted to the luminaire to simplify installation and is available with specular and semi specular aluminium reflector options. The luminaire is mounted using four sprung steel clips for rapid installation and has also been designed with a shallow housing to allow for installation in areas with low ceiling voids.
To complete the range the RTEC downlight is also available with an optional IP65 cover for bathrooms and external under canopy applications, all common dimming and lithium emergency variants. We offer a range of wireless control systems providing localised grouping and control as well as comprehensive wireless solutions allowing both standard and emergency luminaires to be centrally monitored. Infill rings are available on request for retrofit applications to ensure suitability for existing ceiling cut outs.
