Van Driver – Fixed Term Contract

Main duties & responsibilities

  • Delivery of Dextra Goods to customers across the UK

  • Collection of raw materials and components

  • To keep accurate daily driving records

  • Compliance with rules and regulations laid down in EEC regulations 3820/85

  • General maintenance and road worthiness of allocated vehicle

  • Handling delivery notes

  • Route planning

  • Security of allocated vehicle and its load

  • Follow all Quality Control guidelines set by the Company

  • Follow the requirements of the Company’s ISO Procedure

  • Follow the Company’s Health and Safety Policy, work instructions & safe systems of work.

Post requirements

  • Clean driving licence

  • Literate and numerate (dealing with delivery notes and map reading)

  • Good communication skills

  • Smart appearance

  • Fit and healthy as the role involves manual handling

  • Flexible approach to work and start times.
