Introduction

The Mod Slim is a traditional flat panel luminaire with a uniformly lit diffuser, using backlit technology ensuring superb efficiency as well as benefitting LED lifetime by using a high chip count run at low output to minimise operating temperature.

The Mod Slim is available in a wide range of sizes and lumen outputs, as well as lay in and pull up variants to suit all common ceiling types. Surface versions are available for solid ceilings in the surface section of our website. This versatility is further complimented with optional dimming control gear, integral lithium emergency and integral sensors providing presence detection, daylight regulation and wireless linking. We offer a range of wireless control systems providing localised grouping and control as well as comprehensive wireless solutions allowing both standard and emergency luminaires to be centrally monitored.

With multiple variants compatible with the glare requirements of BSEN 12464 the Mod Slim can be used in applications such as offices and schools, but is also suitable for a wide range of installations from ancillary and circulation areas through to retail applications.

  • Multiple lumen outputs are compliant with BSEN 12464 3000 candela glare requirements and therefore suitable for applications with monitors in use. A range of higher lumen output glare compliant products are offered under our MOD LED Office range where required.

Environmental

  • Designed to allow simple replacement of components with commonly available tools in compliance with the Eco Design Directive, please see the installation leaflet for maintenance instructions.
  • Powered by European branded drivers and emergency modules ensuring replacement parts are easily sourced.
  • Every luminaire is labelled with a unique ID number allowing easy identification of spare parts for the lifetime of the product.
  • Contains no single use plastics or polystyrene packaging.
  • Supplied in plain card boxes with paper tape ensuring packaging is easily recycled.
  • Designed to allow simple disassembly for end of life recycling.
  • UK based manufacturing providing local support throughout the product lifetime and minimising transportation miles.

  • Suitable for lay in installation in exposed T ceiling grids and pull up installation in SAS120, Armstrong Orcal 1800 and Burgess Clip-in ceiling, please specify lay in or pull up accordingly.
